INGREDIENTS :
1 cup oats
Finely chopped onion (2 )
Finely chopped tomato ( 2)
finely chopped veges ( potato , carrot , beans , cauliflower , cabbage , peas )
11/2 cups of water
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
FOR SEASONING :
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds , urad dal
Some curry leaves
METHOD :
* Dry roast oats till they turn light brown and keep it aside
* Heat oil in a kadai and prepare the seasoning
* Fry onion by adding salt till they turn soft
* Add the tomato pieces and cook till done
* Add the veges and cook for a minute
* Now add water and let it boil
* Add the oats and mix well
* Switch off the stove and cover the kadai with a lid and let it be so for 10 minutes
* Garnish with coriander leaves
* Serve hot with your favourite chutney !!!
