ALOO PALAK

INGREDIENTS :

2 Medium Potatoes
1 Bunch Spinach ( chopped )
1 small onion ( finely chopped )
2 small tomatoes ( made into paste )
2 Green Chillies
Ginger - little
2 pieces garlic
1 tbsp saunf
1 tbsp garam masala
salt for taste
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp curd
mustard
Urad dal

METHOD :

* Boil the potatoes , peel off the skin and smash it . Keep aside .
* Boil the spinach for 2 mins , drain the water and keep aside .
* In a blender add the spinach , green chillies, 1/2 of the onions , ginger, garlic, saunf and blend till smooth .
* Heat oil in a kadai , splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.
* Now add remainig onion , salt and fry till brown .
* Add the tomato paste and garam masala and cook for 2 mins.
* Now add the blended mixture and bring to boil .
* Then add the smashed potatoes and cook for 2-3 mins .
* Lastly add the curd , stir for a minute and remove from heat .
* Serve hot with Roits / parathas , even with hot rice .
