INGREDIENTS :
1 cup channa dal
1 green chilly , ginger (finely chopped )
1 tbsp coconut grated
salt for taste
asafoetida
Curry leaves
For seasoning:
1 tbsp oil
mustard seeds , urad dal
METHOD :
* Pressure cook the dal with salt for 2 whistles ( keep water only till the dal soaks )
* Heat a kadai and prepare the seasoning
* Add the dal and stir for a minute
* Add the coconut and then the asafoetida
* Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot !!
