INGREDIENTS :
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup urad flour
1/2 cup gram flour ( potukadalai podi )
salt for taste
Asafoetida a pinch
2 tbsp butter
Oil for frying
Chili powder ( optional )
METHOD :
* Make a soft dough out of the above ingredients with a little amount of water
* Heat oil in a kadai
* Place the dough in the murukku press with the plate having a star like hole
* Press gently in circular form, and fry it in the oil .
* Take care that the mururkku is not turning brown .
* Store it in a air-tight container or a ziploc bag !!
