VAZHAKKAI PODIMAS


INGREDIENTS :

2 raw banana

1 tbsp oil

mustard seeds , urad dal , 2 red chillies ( for seasoning )

salt for taste

1 tbsp grated coconut

Asafoetida


METHOD :

* Pressure cook the bananas for 1 whistle

* Let it cool , peel the skin and grate it finely

* Heat oil in a kadai , splutter mustard seeds, fry urad dal and red chillies

* Add the grated banana , stir for a minute and add salt .

* Mix well and fry for 1 minute

* Finally add the coconut , asafoetida and remove from the stove

* Serve hot with sambar rice .
