ADAI

INGREDIENTS :
1 cup Toor dal
1 cup chana dal
1/4 cup urad dal
1 medium onion ( Optional )
2 red Chillies ( as per taste )
salt ( as per taste )
Drumstick leaves ( optional )

METHOD :
* Soak the dals for 1 hr in warm water
* Drain the water and grind coarsely with salt and Chillies
* Transfer it into a bowl
* Chop finely the leaves adn onion
* Add them to the batter
* Add some water to the batter if needed
* The batter should be thick as idli batter
* Heat a dosa griddle , coat it with oil
* Take a scoop of batter , pour in the middle of the griddle , and spread it evenly in circular shape
* Pour 1 tsp of oil around the edges
* When the edges raise a little turn it upside down
* Let it cook for a minute
* Remove from heat and serve with sambar / avial / even jaggery !!!
