CAULIFLOWER-PEAS KOOTU


INGREDIENTS :
1/2 Medium Cauliflower
1/4 cup Fresh Green peas
1/2 cup Yellow moong dal
1/4 cup Toor dal
Salt as per taste
1 tsp turmeric powder

FOR GRINDING:
2 tbsp grated coconut
2 Red Chillies
1 tbsp cumin seeds

FOR SEASONING :
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds , urad dal
Asafoetida a pinch

METHOD :
* Cut the cauliflower florets into small small pieces .
* In a kadai put the dal , cauliflower , salt , turmeric powder with water covering them
* When it is half done add the peas .
* cook them until all are done
* Grind all the ingredients for grinding with little water
* Add this mixture to the dal - vege mix and stir well
* Let it boil .
* After 2 mins remove from heat and add the seasoning to it
* Serve with Hot rice !!
