INGREDIENTS :
For paratha :
1 Cup Wheat flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
Water as required
For Stuffing -1
Carrot 3 Grated
1/2 Green Chilly
Small piece ginger
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds , urad dal
Salt as per taste
A pinch asafoetida
For stuffing - 2
1 Cup peas
1/2 Green chilly
Small piece ginger
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds , urad dal
Salt as per taste
A pinch asafoetida
METHOD :
* Soak peas overnight , boil , smash it coarsely and keep it aside ;
* Prepare Chapathi dough, make small balls and roll them into thin circular discs ;
* Heat oil in a kadai , prepare the seasoning .
* Cut ginger- chilly into fine pieces or you can make a paste of them too
* For stuffing -1 :- Fry the ginger - chilly Pieces in the kadai , then add it to the carrot .
-Add required amount of salt and asafoetida and keep it aside
*For stuffing - 2 :- Fry the Ginger - Chilly pieces ,and add it to the peas .
-Add required amount of salt and asafoetida and keep it aside
* Preparing the stuffed chapathi : -
-Take one disc of dough spread one spoon of carrot stuffing.
-Take another disc , place it on the stuffing and seal the edges
- Spread one tbsp of peas stuffing over it
- Take another disc , place it over the stuffing and seal the edges together .
* Heat a dosa tava in the stove and coat it with oil
* When it is heated , place this stuffed chapthi discs over it and pour 1 tsp oil over the edges
* After sometime turn it upside down
* When both sides turn brown , remove from heat
* Serve it hot with your favourite side dish !!
