LEMON RASAM


INGREDIENTS :

4-5 tbsp cooked toor dal
Water 1/2 half
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp rasam powder
salt as per taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Coriander leaves for garnishing

FOR SEASONING :

1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds, urad dal
A pinch of asafoetida


METHOD :

* Mix the dal , water , turmeric powder , salt in a kadai
* Let it boil for some 4-5 minutes
* Now add the rasam powder and let it boil for a minute
* Now add the lemon juice and remove from heat
* Heat oil in a kadai and prepare the seasoning
* Add the seasoning and the coriander leaves
* Serve with hot rice and pappad !!
