INGREDIENTS :
1 Cup Basmati rice
1 Bunch coriander leaves
2 Green Chillies
Small piece Ginger
1 Clove Garlic
Salt as per taste
1 tsp oil
FOR SEASONING:
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp mustard seeds , urad dal
A pinch asafoetida
METHOD :
* Cook the basmati rice and keep it seperately
* Heat oil in a kadai , fry the chillies , ginger ,garlic
* Meanwhile chop the coriander leaves
* Add the leaves in the kadai and fry for a minute
* Remove them from the kadai and let them cool
* When cooled grind them in a blender ( if needed add only few drops of water to it )
* Heat oil in a kadai and splutter the mustard seeds and fry the urad dal
* Add it to the grinded mixture
* Finally add the asafoetida
* Mix this with the rice
* Serve hot with any Raita !!!
