INGREDIENTS :
1 Cup Curd
1 Small potato
1 Green Chilli
Small piece of ginger
1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
FOR SEASONING :
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp mustard seeds , urad dal
A pinch of asafoetida
METHOD :
* Boil the potatoes till soft , peel the skin and cut into small cubes
* Heat oil in a kadai and fry the potatoes till brown
* Add the salt , turmeric powder and chilli powder and cook for a minute
* Meanwhile beat curd till smooth in a bowl
* Add the potato to the curd
* Grind the chilly and ginger with little curd and add to this mixture
* Finally do the seasoning and add to the raita
* Refrigerate it for atleast 2 hours
* Serve Chill wiht your favourite Rice Varieties !!
