COCONUT CHUTNEY


INGREDIENTS :

1 cup grated coconut

1 green chilly

1/4 cup potukadalai

1 ginger

1 garlic clove ( optional )

Some coriander leaves

Salt as per taste


For seasoning :

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp urad dal

1 pinch Asafoetida


METHOD :

* Grind all the ingredients with little water

* Heat a kadai and prepare the seasoning

* Transfer the Chutney into a serving bowl and pour the seasoning over it

* Serve with Dosa / idli / pongal !!


Note:

* Garlic , ginger, coriander can be added or left out in accordance with our taste !!
