KASI HALWA










INGREDIENTS :

1 Cup White Pumpkin Grated
3/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup milk
1/2 Cup Ghee
Food colour a Pinch
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
METHOD :

*Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a kadai
* Meanwhile squeeze out all the water from the grated pumpkin
* Add the pumpkin to the ghee and fry well , till all the water is gone
* Add the sugar and stir well
* Add the milk and stir well till the milk is absorbed
* Now the pumpkins will be cooked and the mixture will be semi solid
* Add the food colour and the essence
* Hereafter add the ghee little by little and stir continously
* At one point of time the ghee will ooze out and the mixture will form a lump in the middle
* Now add the chopped nuts and stir gently
* Remove from heat and serve warm !!
